These include depression, anger, drug abuse, low self-esteem, poor judgment skills, poor decision-making, frustration and low tolerance.
  • Does your child have difficulties at home?
Such problems may include difficulty in communicating, no respect or lack of respect for others in the family, cases of running away from home, very aggressive verbally and physically, no emotional bonds within the family, and being extremely introvert.

These problems can include stealing, vandalism, poor or no social relations, sexual promiscuity, participating in illegal activities, and violence at school.
  • Does your child have academic and learning difficulties?
Disturbing and offending behavior in the classroom, mild or extreme learning disabilities, and inability to remember lessons at school can be few of the problems.

When can the Provo Canyon School reject a student?

  • If the child is in need of hospitalization due to a severe psychiatric disorder.
  • Any impairment due to any serious brain injury.
  • A case of pregnancy.
  • Social disorders of the most severe kind.
  • Instances of violent behavior, which may not allow the child to adjust in a group environment.
